About The Event 活动详情
The fifteenth day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar, also known as Zhongyuan Festival or Ghost Festival in Chinese folklore, is referred to as the "Ullambana Festival" in Buddhism. It can be traced back to the teachings of Sakyamuni Buddha's "Ullambana Sutra". The offerings made on this day can free the deceased from the suffering of the three lower realms, purify accumulated negative karma from past lives, resolve grievances with karmic creditors, and ultimately assist hungry ghosts in their liberation. On this day, individuals, parents, family members, and everyone close to us receive blessings and protection from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
